"We loved our stay at Aberconwy House. Our hosts were friendly and welcoming and helpful with tips of places to go and see. The room was super comfortable and all the big and small details were so thoughtfully taken care of.
Breakfast was varied and delicious. A fantastic place and we will definitely be back.
Thank you."

"Take advantage of the tea selection in the room and make sure to chat with your hosts for some excellent ideas on where to walk, visit and eat."

"Martin, Marian & Pippa were so friendly & interesting, making for a lovely atmosphere in the guesthouse, you could feel it from the word go. We loved all the little touches - the bay window with armchairs facing out to the hills in room 2, curtains that go fully around the bay window, sachets of mi-wadi and all types of herbal teas, locally produced hand-soap, quiet rooms,little torches on the keyring - they even took our wet clothes to dry them after our hike! Lovely breakfast, comfortable room, tasteful furnishings, and loads of hiking knowledge of the area. Aberconwy House is just an idyllic spot! Thanks for a memorable few days."

We're really glad that the weather didn't stop you from your hike up Snowdon and we were more than happy to dry your clothes overnight, it's not nice to put on damp clothes the next day! "Beautifully clean and comfortable room, hosts think of everything, down to the drinks choices in the room to fresh milk for your tea and even a make up remover cloth! Which was very welcome as I had forgotten mine!! Lovely choices for breakfast, food was excellent quality and cooked perfectly, Martin, Pippa and Marion were all wonderful hosts and kindly provided Welsh cakes, bara brith as a daily treat, just fabulous! Especially welcomed by my hubby who was running a marathon, he was sent off with boiled eggs, along with his treats, they most definitely hit the spot after the race! All these little touches made the stay just wonderful! Highly recommended! "

"Alpine cafe in the village for wonderful coffee and cakes, the most delicious Italian style pizzas at Cabin-Y-Pair, so many beautiful shops in the village. "

"Thankyou so much Pippa Martin &Marian for making us feel so very welcome in your beautiful Guest House last week … We felt very lucky to have found you in Aberconwy House; You have clearly worked very hard to turn the house into the super place it is today. We very much enjoyed our 4xnights with you &shall definitely return next time we’re in the area - You are lovely people doing great job of accommodating Travellers … "

Tip:
"We stayed in Room 6 which was spacious &very comfortable - Superb views … 4xposter bed … Spotlessly clean … Martin’s Breakfasts generous & very tasty; We loved his home-made Vegan sausages &brought some home with us … !!!! As I’m “Small Eater” in the mornings - Martin v.kindly packed up what I couldn’t eat so I could take out &eat later (V.much appreciated) Plus they gave us some cakes each day to take out with us (Thankyou) Martin is also a talented Artist with his work displayed around the house as well as in a Gallery in the town - We actually purchased some of his pictures to bring home …
We also liked the fact that Pippa Marian &Martin don’t enter Rooms during guests’ stays unless something is required/ requested … So we could come &go as we pleased each day with no time restrictions

In short - We had great mid-week Autumn holiday which we very much enjoyed in Aberconwy house …
