"Lovely little cottage in beautiful peaceful location. Surprisingly well equipped for a small cottage, comfortable beds, and reasonably priced. There are great views and gorgeous lochside walks from the doorstep, and loads of wildlife in the area--we saw lots of birds plus porpoises, seals, an otter and lizards!"

Tip:
"Just be aware that sounds carry between rooms within the cottage and there are no black out blinds so an eye mask may be handy in the summer!"

"Take supplies; it's 30 miles to the nearest shop. Bring logs for the wood stoves. The cottage gets warm quickly with the stove on."

"Get all your supplies , food logs etc from the shops before doing the last bit of the journey. There is nothing close by.Ullapool is 45 mins from the cottage."
