"We ate in the pub both nights, the staff were so friendly and accommodating. We joined in the quiz and it was a hoot. Would definitely recommended to family and friends and will be returning."

"Skipton is a must, driving through the lanes and seeing the countryside is breath-taking, when we come back we hope to visit the local gardens and stream train."

"The Shepherd Hut was a delight to stay in. It was peaceful, comfortable and so stylishly (as well as ingeniously!) designed.
We were warm and cosy - the controllable central heating and the adjustable coal effect stove guaranteed a perfect temperature on a chilly November evening.The shower room was excellent and the bed wonderfully comfortable.
The location is lovely, in the heart of beautiful walking country. At the same time, the hut is also conveniently placed within a few yards of the must-visit, ancient Craven Arms, the proximity to which made no difference at all to our peaceful night.

"Wonderful riverside and woodland walks. Bolton Abbey - really worth a visit. The rest of the Dales! And make sure you have a meal in The Craven Arms itself!"
