"Grosmont House is a beautiful house and we stayed in the Bridestones room. Very large room and en suite. Absolutely spotless and clean. Very quiet area, no outside noise and the super king bed was very comfortable. Selma is a lovely, pleasant host and looks after you so well. The breakfasts are excellent, with a large range of choice. We would highly recommend a stay at Grosmont House."

Tip:
"If you are making a trip on the North Yorkshire railway it is only a few minutes walk to the station."

"Second time I have been to this B&B, last time was 8 years ago. The host is friendly and helpful and she makes a wonderful breakfast. The room was clean and well presented, the bed very comfortable and the shower was excellent. I will certainly go again in the future."

"The Railway Tavern was an excellent place for an evening meal. Friendly, helpful staff, and a wonderful steak and ale pie."

"A lovely guest house,very tastefully decorated,the room was delightful, everything clean and the bed was large and comfortable.
The owner and staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was plentiful and well presented."

"All we can say is give this a try, a lovely place.
It is immediately adjacent the wonderful NYMR, there are also nice walks and the local pub, Railway Tavern, offers nice food and drinks."
