Tony and Sue obviously care very much that guests have a comfortable stay and are well fed. A spotlessly clean and comfortable room with en-suite facilities and there is a fridge on the landing for guests use. Breakfast was fabulous.

We had a lovely meal at Wortley Arms pretty much next door. We ate in the bar as it’s dog friendly.

Nothing is too much trouble for Tony & Su and they do everything to make their guests welcome and comfortable.

A really lovely stay. Room spotlessly clean with a real eye for detail. Lovely breakfast! Thanks again to Tony for digging us out of the snow. Sorry we drove off so quick without stopping to say thanks properly - we saw a gap in the slithering traffic and had to go for it!

Tips for other travellers

Try the Wortley Arms for an evening meal or a drink. It’s just a couple of doors down and the food was excellent and locally sourced. Book early if you want a seat near the fire! Su and Tony can book this for you in advance if you wish.
