David and Michael provide excellent service, paying much attention to the detail and the little things that make a big difference. They are particularly generous with room accessories, toiletries, tea/coffee/biscuits, water etc. and offer a variety of breakfasts each morning, often with nice surprises! They really looked after my milk intolerance by providing soya alternatives. Very thoughtful.

Tips for other travellers

Don't worry about the parking - there's a multi-storey at the end of Garfield Road that's under £10 for 24 hours. Sadly the car park itself is unkempt and needs attention but it's easy access to Blueberry House and the sea front.

Michael and David were welcoming and attentive.They were prepared to go out of their way to ensure the quests enjoyed a happy stay. They even lent me a large towel so I could go for a swim down the beach.

Tips for other travellers

20yds to the seafront so have a wonder either way. Go to the Harbour where you can find bars, cafes and ferry cove. A £2 bus ride to Brixham about 6 miles away if you fancy a day out.

Highly recommend this place to anyone coming to Devon for holiday. The staff make you feel home with lovely breakfast, nice room and warm welcome. Also, is only few steps from the beach and local shops, bus and train station. If you are lucky to book a room it’s like to win a lottery;)

Tips for other travellers

Places I recommend: walk by the sea to Goodrington beach, take boat to either Torquay or Brixham, or The Round Robin combination: Steam train-Open Bus-Boat. Torbay is really lovely place to visit.

Absolutely an amazing stay David and Michael go above and beyond for their guests nothing to much trouble and the breakfasts we’ll all I can say is I’ve stayed at many many guest houses and hotels but it’s by far the best breakfast we ever had all piping hot and so much choice .you will not find better in Paignton and believe us we wouldn’t stay anywhere else we went as guests and came away as friendsxxxx❤️❤️
