BUTTEVILLE was fantastic. It was beautifully decorated and furnished, with comfortable beds and a very well-equipped kitchen. We loved our stay and particularly loved the decked balcony. A neighbour kindly loaned us a parasol, as it was luckily really sunny. So that would be the only thing we'd recommend adding to the deck. The booking process was easy and helpful. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

We ate at the Royal in the village, which is always great and at the Ellerby Hotel for Sunday lunch - delicious! Lovley walk on the coastal path from the house to Staithes, just under an hour.

We loved staying here and will come again. The cottage was warm and clean, and stocked with everything you could possibly need. We felt very looked after.

We found the bus service very useful as we could walk out along the coast in both directions and catch the bus home.

Cracking cottage. Well equipped. Great location. Clean comfortable and welcoming. .. Extremely well planned and newly refurbed accommodation. Ideally placed fairly high up. Cracking views from the large upstairs balcony. Even on a cool day/evening, get well wrapped up and you wont want to move! Be aware that the village is nestled in the hillside, so you need need to have the body joints to match.

All mod cons with everything you may need in a large kitchen, with table n chairs. 2 fridges a clever move. 1 for drinks (obvs!) Over 3 floors with living room and kitchen on the centre floor. 2 bathrooms - 1 on bottom floor, 1 on top floor. Handy area by front door if you have a dog! Lots of lovely homely touches becoming of a seaside home. Car park handy - but think about the steps back! The free residents' pass saves feeding the machine.

Butteville is a beautiful cottage, so well cared for and with lovely personal touches and decorations throughout. It felt like a home from home and made a ruby wedding anniversary weekend for our family, extra special. Helen was very quick to respond on the phone and helpful with booking queries.
