Tips for other travellers

Farmer‘s Arms for good food, Bengal Rose for good Indian food, Chippy Bank for excellent fish and chips. All close by.

Because of the way we were looked after a 1 night stay was made to feel like a longer relaxing stay .Will definitely come again if going to the area.

A real gem! Lovely bedroom with comfy bed and a great shower. Very friendly and helpful proprietor who recommended great places to eat. Lovely breakfast. Really well situated for the start of the Cumbria Way, and only 0 mins walk from the train station. I wish I could have stayed longer - I can't recommend highly enough!

Tips for other travellers

I had a lovely pizza and a couple of nice pints in The Farmers, just 5 mins from the Old Daltongate. Ulverston is definitely worth a walk round. Walk the Cumbria way (which starts 5 mins from the B&B) but be ready for muddy paths and encounters with cows on day 1!
