A warm, welcoming place to stay. Very easy to book, ask questions (always got helpful replies). A couple of minor issues speedily fixed by the friendly manager. Perfect place to stay for a quiet, relaxed holiday. It is spotlessly clean and easy to heat if temperatures drop Great enclosed garden which is for the use of cottage occupants only.

Tips for other travellers

You will need to take your own supplies of things like salt/pepper/oil etc as part of your self catering. Be aware nearest store is 6 miles away Cleaning materials, dishwater tabs, foil and cling film are available. But you will need to bring your own washing detergent/conditioner for lau dry

Really easy to book and checking in was no problem with perfect instructions. The cottages are well maintained with all you need . Every thing is easy to operate with guides available if you need them,The management are readily available to help ,Book as soon as you can,for a most relaxing break.

Tips for other travellers

Breathtaking is all I need to say, the sunrises and sets are amazing. There are so many things to see and do with something to please everybody.Stock up in Stranraer before you come and you can lock yourself in for a few days of tranquility or the coastal walk is a delight. My only grump was the bath towels are a bit small or maybe I need to lose some weight?Perhaps more of the coastal walks next time.

This is our second visit and enjoyed it so much we extended the stay a further three nights! The cottages are clean and have everything you need for a comfortable stay. It’s so quiet so you’ve no trouble in having a peaceful night’s sleep. Everyone was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. We’ll definitely return. Many thanks, Alan & Heidi 08/24.
