Looks a bit disapointing at first glance, but has a dryroom, a bathtub, nice kitchen and a very cosy livingroom.

Such a friendly welcome from Alex(?) and Jack the dog which was so appreciated after a very long hard day of walking. Also did a great job of introducing me to others staying which set us up for conversation well. Place was clean, functional, comfortable and very well stocked. Just perfect. Thanks so much.

Alex was very helpful and replied promptly to our enquiries. The bunkhouse is basic but cosy, warm and clean. The location is perfect for hiking up Ben Lomond, would definitely recommend

Tips for other travellers

Kitchen facilities are good. We took dinner to eat the night before. Eggs, porridge, bread(white sliced pan), butter etc all included for breakfast. Ben’s bakes honesty box supplies all you need for a mountain picnic, excellent mini quiches, each item costs £3. If you like brown bread, best to take your own.
