This is our 3rd year staying in this beautiful well equipped cottage. The location is wonderful, so peaceful and relaxing just what is needed for a perfect break. Fiona and Andy are such perfect hosts and the attention to detail is wonderful from the welcome flowers and chocolates to the clear instructions for practical day to day such as lighting the wood burner. We keep coming back because this is the perfect place to stay. Thanks for making our stay so great just the break we needed.

We visited our favourite places again and some new ones too. Achnecarry and the Eas Chia Aig waterfall and museum is worth a visit giving not only the history of clan cameron but also the commando training there, spean bridge commando memorial is also worth a visit as is the Ben Nevis Distillery for important Whisky supplies! Oban is good to visit as well as Dalavich such a beautiful spot on Loch Awe. The Argyll pottery has some beautiful things and Hugh always has a friendly welcome. The Racer cafe next to the pottery at Balcardine has amazing food. We always visit Invarary several times not only for the castle and gaol but also the cafe in the woolen mill fish and chips and whisky shops and craft shops such a beautiful place. And the Highland village at Auchindrain was great stepping back in time. Taynuilt village has a wonderful Grocer Ian at Graham's along with a Butcher post office and craft shop. We also went back to Muckairn church who are always so welcoming. There is so much to do and see in the area and No.2 at Inverinan makes the perfect base.

We took the opportunity to walk part of the West Highland Way at Tyndrum. We saw most of the area castles, be sure to double check days they’re closed. We saw and experienced a lot in 5 days

We've just had from the most relaxing weekend getaway at No.2 Awesome Argyll. The hosts were wonderful and very helpful in organising. The cottage is a welcoming retreat set in beautiful countryside. It is furnished to a very high standard & is spotlessly clean throughout. It has clearly been lovingly decorated with luxurious and homely furnishings and local art plus lots of extra special touches. We loved relaxing by the wood burning stove, so cosy. Both bedrooms are beautifully decorated. We slept in the loch facing bedroom and had the best sleep as the bed was exceptionally comfortable! The kitchen is fully equipped with all the essentials we could need and more and the bathroom is very stylish and modern. The cottage is in a very peaceful location and the scenery around Loch Awe is stunning. At night the air was so clear that we were star gazing, awesome! We will definitely be going back and would love to see the changing seasons and make the most of the lovely garden and barbecue. We can highly recommend No.2 as an ideal base to relax and to explore Argyll.

We drove left from the cottage and took a very scenic journey to Oban passing the Bridge over the Atlantic, Seil Island, Easdale and highland cows! After a lovely lunch in Oban we went up to McCaig's Tower which is a must for the panoramic views over the harbour and out to the Isle of Mull and beyond. When we return we'll take a picnic to sandy Ganavan Beach, go on a Seafari adventure from Easdale and dine at the historic Tigh an Truish Inn. Inverary Castle and a ferry to Mull are on our hit list too. There's so much to see and do in Argyll, we'll definitely need to stay longer next time!
