The accommodation is in a beautiful, peaceful position with a direct view to Suilven. It is spacious and is in an immaculate condition with everything you need for your stay.

Delilah’s restaurant, Lochinver Larder (Pie Shop), Peet’s, Highland Stonewear among others. There are lovely walks and beautiful beaches in the area.

The area is quite well known to us, and the Coach House proved to be an excellent base for us to visit the area around Lochinver and Achiltibuie. We loved the accommodation and though it was further from the centre of Lochinver it is only a short walk away. We will certainly consider returning to the Coach House when planning future stays.

Tips for other travellers

We always enjoy eating at Peet's Place and had booked before we travelled. Though it is at the further end of Lochinver from the Coach house it still took only 30 minutes to walk there. A torch is handy if it is dark for walking for the last few hundred yards of the journey. Do visit Achmelvich Beach if you can, and if keen on walking there are a number of easy/more challenging walks to take. Information is available from our hosts.

Tips for other travellers

Easy walk in to the village. The pies at the larder were superb and the food at Pete's restaurant was excellent. Definitely worth booking in advance as everywhere books up early. A trip to the local beaches is highly recommended if the weather holds up.

Thank you so much. From the moment we arrived, we knew we'd chosen well. We received a very warm welcome to what was overall, a fantastic location for a holiday. The Coach House was beautiful inside, decorated to a very high standard and spotlessly clean. The house was very well equipped, comfortable and stunningly quiet. The weather got the better of us but when the sun shone, the outlook from the decking was breathtaking. I would recommend the Coach House without hesitation.

Lochinver was lovely. It's nestled in a beautiful spot, with plenty of really good places to eat. We had heard a lot about the Lochinver Pie Shop before arriving and it didn't disappoint. We had a lovely meal at Peet's but the pick of the bunch was Delilah's. Great location, brilliantly varied menu, beautiful food, all served by lovely staff. I would though recommend booking.
