My daughter Sarah got married at Bredenbury Court Barns, and I am so glad I chanced on Rowden Abbey! It provided perfect accommodation for Sarah & Daniel's bridal party of 5 bridesmaids and 4 groomsmen (with their spouses) in August. The house in beautiful idyllic countryside has 10 individually decorated bedrooms with charming bits of history, plenty of living space to relax and socialise in, an enormous kitchen, large dining room and glorious views. Charlie and Ernie are super hosts, accommodating, thoughtful and did everything possible to make their stay a wonderful one. Charlie is amazing, happy to help in any way she can. They loved her sumptuous breakfast buffet spread. Having the bridal party under one roof in such beautiful surroundings ensured a chilled out bride and groom with their best mates, which really relaxed them, a great start to their big day. Ernie has an amazing collection of vintage cars, and Charlie drove Sarah and the proud father of the bride to Bredenbury Court Barns, just 10 minutes from Rowden Abbey, in the gorgeous James Young Bentley. Sincere thanks to Charlie and Ernie for their wonderful and kind hospitality, and helping all have such a lovely memorable stay.

What a perfectly magnificent venue. Our party of 20, all of different ages from 30 to 72, were attending a wedding locally at Bredenbury Court Barns and what a glorious, interesting and comfortable venue. We were delighted with every aspect from the beautiful gardens and views, the fantastically interesting history of the place, along with excellent furnishings and fixtures (we loved the William Morris wallpaper), spacious kitchen and dining room perfect for entertaining all our party and the comfortable rooms and bedding. We truly had a fabulous time and the weather was fabulous after weeks of rain. We will definitely return as everyone raved about the place and how great it was. Thanks so much for making our pre-wedding and post wedding time in the wonderful countryside so special.

I made a reservation at Rowden Abbey for a wedding evening not knowing what to expect. Well for a quiet, luxurious stay I was very impressed. The service we received was second to none, the facilities were great and the Abbey itself was an amazing experience. Rich in history and so much to learn regarding the Abbey it felt a shame it was only used for an overnight stay. Regarding the service, we were greeted and well informed by the estate manager who treated us with great respect and kindness making us very welcome. The rooms were clean, well laid out and most of all comfortable. I don’t doubt that I will consider returning again.

Take the time to explore and understand the Abbey. There are loads of interesting facts about the place, but also to familiarise yourself with the doors and rooms.

A great house with beautifully decorated and original bedrooms. Plenty of space to spread out in the house and garden. A games room and separate snug for young children to watch TV is an excellent addition to the other reception rooms. The sheets and beds are heavenly! We will be back!

Bromyard, Ledbury and Leominster are lovely towns nearby and there’s NT property close by to visit if there’s time!
