Very friendly young man showed us in. We could have done with explanation on how to use the air conditioning unit. Room was extremely clean, as was bathroom. There were two hairdryers in the room one didn't work at all, the other seemed to be shorting. When I unplugged it one of the pins in the plug burned my finger it was so hot. Definite fire risk. I reported it to the cleaner, but downstairs was all locked up so couldn't tell them. Location is on a busy road but double glazing was effective. Basic but clean and ok for the price.

Ask them to show you how to work the air con/heating.

Staff were friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. Only a 10 minute walk from the centre of Canterbury. Great value for money.

Tips for other travellers

Situated very close to Canterbury East Station so be prepared for some rail noise. It's easy enough to ignore but something to bear in mind if you need total silence for sleep. Saying that, earplugs are provided.

Tips for other travellers

Had a nice sleep and felt refreshed next day. Only 5 mins from the train station and 8-10 mins walk to centre, the location is very convenient.
