Thank you for making our stay in Lochinver so good. The room and property were excellent and clean. The service you provide is second to none and the breakfast to die for. Excellent value for money. We will stay again if in Lochinver and will defo recommend.

A fantastic experience from start to finish, with a wonderful welcome, luxurious accommodation, and spectacular views. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts and breakfast was something really special. The use of locally sourced and sustainable ingredients, added to unique presentation made the delicious food unbelievably good. We stayed in the Byre, with it’s own sun room, outside seating, hot tub and separate ‘viewpoint’ over the loch, village and Canisp and Suilven. This is the best B&B we have ever stayed in, with the best accommodation, food and service we have experienced anywhere - by a country mile. We will most certainly be back, just not soon enough.

Tips for other travellers

There is plenty to do and see locally. We needed more than two nights to explore some of the walks that can be taken directly from the house and intend to try some at a later date. Good local restaurants, but especially Lochinver Larder, aka the pie shop, which shouldn’t be missed. Remember to close the gate and keep the deer out of the beautiful garden on-site, but outside the property you will most likely encounter deer around the village. We came face to face with a mother hind and her youngster, which was a lovely experience.
