Caroline and Chris are most welcoming and the accommodation is home from home. The extras on arrival; Caroline's cake, honey from Chris's bees and the eggs, are very nice. The setting couldn't be better and the animals(mostly rescued) are very entertaining.

Tips for other travellers

This was our second visit and we explored a little further than the 'tourist hotspots'we visited last time. Caroline and Chris know of many charming little villages and there is an abundance of info in the cottage. Locally, the pub is very good, as are, Wyatt's farm shop and tearoom and the cafe at Whichford Pottery. Hook Norton brewery, shop and cafe also worth a visit.

My daughter and I had the best time, made perfect by the hospitality of Caroline and Chris. They are just lovely and make you feel so welcome. The produce they make and sell is delicious too! We loved being in the countryside, with the menagerie of animals, especially Billy, the ever so cheeky donkey, who captured our hearts and made us smile on a daily basis! The cottage is absolutely lovely, with all mod cons, beautiful bedding and towels, everything is done to a very high standard. I hope we will return! It’s comfortable, well situated and perfect for a relaxing break.

Tips for other travellers

There’s so much to see and do in the Cotswolds and the cottage hold an abundance of information on local pubs and restaurants, walks, places to visit etc. We loved the local pub, just a 5 minute walk from the cottage. The food they serve is of restaurant quality and the staff are lovely. Dogs are allowed which was a plus for us as we got to say hello to several who were there with their families!

Indian Restaurant listed in Info File does not do home deliveries whereas the Chinese Restaurant does. Location excellent to visit the highlights of the Cotswolds
