Just a wonderful and peaceful place to be - cosy and warm with lovely views and walks from the door. You relax as soon as you open the gate. Close to interesting villages and things for the whole family to do. A great welcome from the owners and the donkeys and pony and sheep might welcome you too! We are hoping to return in teh spring - our 5th visit.

Property in quiet location but within easy reach of numerous places to see and things to do.Perfect for walking and visiting well known landmarks eg Malham Tarn, Ingleton,Settle,Skipton. The list is endless. Can recommend the Settle to Carlisle railway journey, the waterfalls walk,Bolton Abbey, the forest of Bowland to name but a few. The property is incredibly well equipped, comfortable and quiet. The hosts,Ruth and Mike are extremely helpful and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. For families with children,Ruth is happy to let the children help with the animals. Feeding the donkeys etc. We have visited four times and find it a bit of paradise, somewhere to recharge the batteries.

This is such a beautiful location rural but close to road network and the Barn is a joy to stay at, everything you need to make a meal and relax. Have been many times now and Ruth and Mike are wonderful hosts with a wonderful welcome basket especially the Lemon drizzle cake!

Ruth went over and beyond as a host so a huge thanks to her (and for the welcome pack!). Found the online guidance booklet from Tipperthwaite Barn issued prior to arrival, really helpful.

What a brilliant base for our first Yorkshire adventure! Beautiful surroundings and so many amazing places to visit and explore. Lovely walks around local lanes and area. Avoid tourist honeypots (like Malham Cove , Grassington etc) at the weekend, but do visit them. Good local place to eat – Harts Head in Giggleswick, but book ahead for busy times.
