Very enjoyable stay in lovely barn with great facilities in an extremely tranquil and relaxing location. Beautiful surrounding countryside with plenty of walks and dog friendly pubs. Lucy, the host was very friendly, welcoming and accommodating.

Tips for other travellers

In terms of local pubs, the Square & Compass was our favourite, serving good quality food and a wide range of drinks. Day trip to Harrogate recommended, with plenty to see and offering a good range of shops and eateries. Weetons Farm Shop & Cafe also definitely worth a visit.

Exceptional place to stay , lovely views , calm and tranquil Cow Shed was immaculately decorated and finished well with high standard furnishings Very clean throughout with very comfortable beds , kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed 100% would recommend Paul was an excellent host and Lucy made sure everything went as well as it should with the reservation
