Beautiful cottage and all the facilities we needed were supplied. Beds were extremely comfortable, lovely towels (including beach towels), luxurious bedding, and very good nights’ sleeps were had by all! Although some maps were left, I would’ve like to have had more detailed info about the estate and the various path/lanes I could take as it’s such a beautiful area to explore.

We discovered the house belonging to the original estate owner, Clough Williams Ellis, which has glorious gardens and a lovely cafe.

This was our second stay at Wern. The cottages are fitted out to a high standard and in a great location, handy for the beaches at Criccieth and beyond, as well as all the activities in Snowdonia. The garden was peaceful and safe for our kids and dog to use, with beautiful views down to the sea.

Dylans at Criccieth for the best local food - best to pre-book by several weeks in high season.
