Louise is very welcoming, attentive and helpful. The pitches are of a generous size with some great views. The showers and toilets are exceptional! The showers are very large with their own basin, loo and hand driers. Impeccably clean. We had a superb 4 night stay.

Tips for other travellers

Bus stop at end of Maer Lane to take you to Exmouth Town Centre. At the Tesco bus stop, you can catch bus to lovely, Budleigh Salterton. Alternatively, one can walk to Exmouth sea front from the site, which is about 1.3 miles away.

Very welcoming, delightfully quiet, small site. The new toilet and shower facility is mainly very good but we wished the pressure setting on the shower control would allow about 3 times the amount of time the water flowed.

Maer Lane is quite narrow in places but there are sizeable passing spaces if you are concerned about driving a larger vehicle down there,

Another great visit to Prattshayes and quieter this time of the year. A friendly welcome from Louisa as always and a large hardstanding pitch with electric. Love this site as always clean and tidy along with easy access to beach down the road and new shower block is great 👍

Maer Lane is closed from the beach, so follow the easy diversion to get to the site from the other end of Maer Lane.
