Plenty to do in and around Cromarty and the Black Isle... walks, dolphins, beaches. The wee shops and cafes are very friendly.

We had a wonderful couple of days at Jessica and Euan’s Coop, The Den. The place was spotless clean and it had everything we would need to have a nice week end. We appreciated to have all types of amenities like toiletries, bathrobes, coffee packs etc. The booklet the hosts provided with how to’s (jacuzzi, projector…) and restaurants/activities recommendations was a nice touch. Jessica was available if we had any questions, she even texted us to watch out for the auroras on our last night. Unfortunately we didn’t have the chance to see them, until next time ! Thank you !

This is an exceptionally first class pod with everything you could ask for, including a lovely big hot tub. The host Jessica has thought everything through when furnishing this. It was immaculate with all you need including an espresso coffee machine, lovely crockery, glasses, and bed linen and towels that were first class. We even had robes, and a projector with a pull down screen, we were well and truly spoilt. Views over the Cromarty were fabulous as you are in an extremely elevated position. Our host was very friendly and greeted us upon our arrival and give us some freshly laid hens eggs, which were absolutely delicious. Jessica has good knowledge of the area, and is always near by if you want to ask or need anything, she has a lovely personality, and very approachable. She even offered to drive us down to the village and come back and collect us when we went out for a meal. It’s the little touches like this and the dedication and hard work Jessica puts in to her business that will bring people back time and time again. I know we will certainly return and will definitely recommend Sutor Coops to family and friends.

Although we were only staying four days our break was more of a relaxing one. The village is quirky with some lovely craft shops, and fantastic views over the Firth of Cromarty. We had coffee at the Slaughter House which was right on the ferry slip way, coffee was good and the cake was delicious too. If eating out it is recommended that you book.
