Mary made us most welcome and could not do enough for us. The breakfast was superb and she did an evening meal and picnic for us. She went out of her way to give us ideas of where to visit . The location was probably to best we have stayed in . Very easy access to the main road and a short drive to Northallerton.

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights.wished it had been longer,certainly hope we can return.Mary and John made us so welcome,it was home from home and the breakfasts were A1. !!! Tasty and wholesome,delicious.

Tips for other travellers

We would recommend Richmond,lovely river walks and the converted railway station is worth a visit,art gallery/cafe/micro brewery/artisan baker/and cinema all under one roof.
