Tips for other travellers

I stayed for a few nights with my dog's,to get away from fireworks at home,so spent a lot of time in the caravan. I did go for a couple of walks on the golf course, which was fantastic the dogs loved it. The entrance is on the lane just before you get to the farm, and is signposted with yellow markers for you to follow.

The caravan was very clean, well equipped and spacious. Only 5 caravans in field with tall hedges either side for privacy, space to sit out side with table and chairs and hang washing . Have stayed 4/5 times now and have always had a warm welcome. Can't fault the place and the people.

Tips for other travellers

Site is situated on the western side of the Peak district with easy quick routes to all areas. There is a High Street down the hill with a small Sainsbury's or a large Tesco's, a short drive away.

The caravan was ready when we arrived. Great directions to the farm. Good information in the caravan regarding the area, things to see, shops, restaurants and local walks. Bethany came across to great us to check everything was okay, which was good. We had a walk around the farm and had a couple of very interesting conversations with Graham. We loved it, perfect for us.

Tips for other travellers

We walked down to New Mills on our first day and it's a lovely little town with plenty of history and interesting features. Sainsburys local is in the centre of town, which is convenient. If the walk back seems overfacing, there is always the bus to take you most of the way home, The bus station is right by Sainsburys, which is handy.

Tips for other travellers

Inside the caravan is a map of a walk round the whole farm. It takes about 2 hours and is well worth it. The views of Manchester and kinder scout are amazing.
