Amazing! The location was exactly as we hoped - totally amazing! We love the wilderness and epic wild weather so it was perfect for us. Monkstadt itself is stunning whilst also feeling like home. We stayed in pretenders escape and it was immaculate and also so homely and of such a beautiful and high standard. We felt so welcome and staff were helpful as well as understanding; there if needed but at the same time we felt we could come and go as if it were home and had all the privacy we needed. The view was amazing and it was so lovely to cosy up and listen to the wind howl as well as go out in the morning and feel the wind in our faces whilst taking in that amazing view of the Outer Hebrides One tiny wish...As fresh coffee lovers , we would LOVE to see a Nespresso machine and milk frother in the accomodation as per the other lodges. We noted nespresso instructions but not machine. We love to wake up with a decent coffee at home or away. So it would our stay even more perfect (if that is possible). The bar was perfect - more like a snug where we could have a drink, in front of the fire , read the history of Monkstadt and play a game or two. We enjoyed breakfast (twice) as well as the Tasting evening menu - which was delicious. We got married whilst in Skye and staying at Monkstadt made it all the more memorable. We loved it so much we are already booked to return and cannot wait. We wish you were closer so we could just move in ;-) Thank you to everyone at Monkstadt!

Such a lovely and cozy home! Felt as if we were home with better views. The location is perfect for someone wanting to be secluded but also close to so many beautiful locations.

We enjoyed the beautiful view across the pasture to the water. The apartment was very comfortable and the kitchen was well-stocked with necessities. It was a very special place. Thank you.
