We loved our stay at Great Coombe! The location was perfect for us, and the setting was just beautiful -waking up to the lush countryside and hairy cows was amazing. We found the cottage met all our needs and everything we required was there. Nicola was a lovely friendly host and nothing seemed to much when we needed advice or help.

The tank museum is a must - far exceeded our expectations! A few hours at Lulworth Cove even though the parking is pricy - on reflection we wished we had paid for the more expensive ticket and visited all three sights in one day. And Sunday lunch at the local Gaggle of Geese - great food and fab place! We also went to Weymouth and Dorchester, both worth a visit too!

Beautiful property with great views of the countryside. We saw many deer and birds as well as nany species of butterfly. This a peaceful site with easy access to different areas of interest both coastal and inland. The property itself was roomy, comfortable and well eqipped.

We enjoyed the national trust cafe at corfe castle which catered well for children and adults. Outings to Blue pool and RSPB Arne were very enjoyable and of course it is not too far to the coast.

Fantastic holiday. Loved the location and Little Coombe. The property has everything you need. Nicola was really friendly and popped round to double check everything was all right. After a long walk the hot tub was perfect to relax in. The games room kept us entertained in the evenings. We would love to go back and see all the animals on the farm again.

The scenery was so beautiful we walked over to Cerne Abbas 3 times. So much to see, each time we found something different to look at. We managed to locate the brewery, I'd recommend it. We had other walks planned but couldn't fit everything in, maybe save them for next time. We also had enjoyable days out to Weymouth and Lulworth Cove.

We found Dorset in general to be very dog friendly. Finding places to visit in the rain with a dog is often difficult but the Mill at Wimborne was very welcoming and Lulworth castle permits dogs inside the building. Most pubs and garden centres in the vicinity allow dogs inside. As expected Kingston Lacey does not allow dogs in either the house or cafe.
