* The nearby Botanic Gardens were a welcome destination after a walk along the river trail.
* La Le Turkish Mediterranean Restaurant near downtown is well prepared and very good for a change from local fare.
* Mussel soup can be very delicious and best enjoyed if the mussels are fully removed from their shells before they are prepared for the soup. Local restaurants service mussel soup with and without shells - ask first.
