I love this hostel. It’s really comfortable and so well equipped. Comfy beds, nice linen and smart bathrooms.

Stayed for one night with friends. We have stayed numerous times before and it was our friends first stay and they thought it was excellent. As usual everything at the hostel was excellent and I would highly recommend it.

Such a special place to stay. Accessible, cosy (even when the snow came), comfortable and everything easy to access. Danielle and Daniel have created a gem which I will return to visit most certainly

Tips for other travellers

The joy of travelling for me is the joy of exploring an area taking account now of what is within my limited capability and I have to say Ballater was a delight not only with the accessibility of walks along the River Dee including The Seven Bridges Walk etc etc. Wander on the Craigendarroch Path enjoyable too. So many to choose from and of course the various tearooms, although The Ballater Station refurbishment was a delight to come across and although this time settled for lunch and afternoon teas I will be back and of course the gift shops and galleries which again were just a treat.

I think one of the nicest hostels Ive stayed at. So clean and warm and homely. Amazing facilities. Would 100% recommend and I'll be back soon myself
