Wonderful break, stayed in the apartments which were spotlesssly clean, warm and well equipped kitchen Every member of staff was so friendly and welcoming. Bar was very cosy and dog friendly….food was plentiful and delicious

If your staying in the self catering apartments
Make sure you have enough supplies for the duration of your stay as there are no near by stores to top up
Lots of lovely walks. Beautiful scenery

Absolutely beautiful location, and the staff were completely lovely and accommodating throughout. The food is also excellent, and well catered to us awkward vegans.

Tips for other travellers
No point going anywhere else for food/drink, The Bridge is perfect as is.
We loved going up Haystacks and around three lake, but for a bit more of a challenge would recommend traversing up the side of Scale Force waterfall (also beautiful) and then coming down Red Pike towards Bleaberry Tarn.
