Laura and Phil have a lovely home. They had very good communication about check in and check out with all the details we needed. The home had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Tips for other travellers

We would highly recommend staying at Stonechat Bothy on the Isle of Skye. We always looked forward to returning back to the house for a warm night by the fire and to chill on the cosy sofa. The house is situated about 10-15 minutes from Broadford, which has everything you need eg. Petrol station, supermarket, cafes, etc. The house is nice and secluded and private up the wee hill it sits on. We came in October and had lovely weather with the sun shining through the large windows but still crisp outside. We would definitely recommend visiting at this time of year.

A magical place to stay for peace and solitude with all the home comforts for total relaxation. Surrounded by birdsong, stunning scenery and a variety of wonderful walks, it truly is a place to savour.

Boat trip from Elgol to Loch Coruisk a must do especially on a sunny day. Enjoyable coffee and cake at the Coffee Bothy near Broadford.
