My second stay at the Lugo Rock and quality of service and facilities remain at 5 star plus. I honestly cannot fault anything and will be returning again soon. The room facilities are superior to exclusive hotels I have stayed in over my many years of travelling. Large bathrooms, coffee machines and pristine white bedding awaits all who visit. No wonder they have so many repeat visitors. The breakfasts are cooked to perfection by the owner Katie and breakfast times include room service. The guest lounge and decking are welcoming areas for those who wish to leave the comfort of their rooms. Katie ,Trish and all the staff are marvellous and cannot do enough for you. They go above and beyond to ensure your stay is memorable and believe you me, it is.

Tips for other travellers

The Lugo Rock is just up the road from the train station which is ideal for travellers who do not have a car, however if driving there is a large cat park. All attractions are within walking distance and there are regular local buses that will take you further afield ie Trebah Gardens. There are also excellent walking trails, local parks and other places to visit. Just down the road to the Lugo Rock is the lovely sandy Gyllyngvase Beach with Beach Cafe and Restaurant with sea views. You don't need to stray far from the Lugo Rock to have a very memorable relaxing break/holiday.

Lovely stay. Perfectly situated for town and beach. Very friendly and helpful host, nice spacious room, and a good hearty breakfast choice. We hope to stay again in the future.
