The cottage was attractively decorated and comfortable. We had a great stay and enjoyed the local walks. Stephen and Phillip were excellent and friendly hosts.

Wellington boots might be useful for walks by the river.

Stephen is a very friendly and welcoming guy, and is always available if any issues arise, but allows his guests the privacy to enjoy total peace and quiet.

If you are thinking about booking, do not be concerned about the A1. It does allow very easy and quick access to all the surrounding areas.

Beautiful little cottage which was warm and comfortable and so easy to find. We felt very safe and found everything we needed. Thank you so much for a lovely stay.
