Very happy with our stay and any issues/requests were actioned immediately. We love coming back as it feels very familiar and comfortable. We love the location and being away from big town centrws but with everything we need close by. We are also in awe of how hard you work to make it lovely for your guests. Your garden is lovely too.

We love the hotel and stay whenever we are in Devon. The food is excellent, but we also appreciated the guest’s fridge in the dining room for our drinks and snacks.

Tips for other travellers

Telephone restaurants and bars to check opening and closing times. These can vary especially out of season. In wet weather try the swimming pool and leisure centre in Kingsbridge. The aquarium in Plymouth is good value for money and will fill half a wet day. There is a large undercover shopping centre in Plymouth. Those of us who live abroad and miss British shops can easily spend a full day there.
