"A lovely site tucked away along the bottom of the fell, beautiful sunset view from the lodge. The sauna & outdoor bath were a real treat. So much detail in making the lodge feel special & super comfortable, even down to Christmas decorations.
Was lovely to meet & chat to the owners, nothing was too much trouble.
Great addition of the honesty shop, wide variety of thing’s available. "

Tip:
"Had lunch in Sedbergh before arriving, worth visiting. We didn’t venture out at night but were treated to a beautiful star lit sky, with a couple of shooting stars which was fantastic.

"The orchard cabin has been so well thought out to take full advantage of the amazing view. Modern and stylish with lovely landscaping. Outside bath was luxurious, even in the rain. Facilities all to a high standard for cabins and glamping pods. Fantastic paths between and to the pods that didn’t get muddy even in a storm in December! We were still able to walk the dogs without being covered in mud.
Toilet and shower block for camping and pods were the best I’ve seen in 30 years of camping. Honesty shop was really useful. Siobhan and David were lovely and gave us the privacy we were looking for while still being available to help and chat when required."

Tip:
"This is a rural site which would be perfect for families who want to let their kids run free without worries. It’s completely safe with plenty to keep younger ones busy.
It’s a couple of miles down a country lane which has plenty of passing places and friendly farmers who are always looking out for you. All locals were so friendly and helpful."
