"Joy is a very helpful and charming host, very friendly and made one feel at home straight away. We only stayed for 2 nights and were unable to eat there in the evenings but breakfast was excellent with local produce.
The house setting and gardens by the river Dee is ideal for a filming location, Agatha Christie possibly, my thoughts as a retired cameraman."

"Best stop on our trip through Scotland. Our room in the great home was uniquely modern, bed was very comfortable and there were lots of nice amenities. Joyce and Garry the hosts were very available, full of info and just fun to talk to about the area. Breakfast was very good and don’t forget to get the evening platters, they are great too. The town is nice with several good restaurants, especially the Indian. Nice hiking and places to visit nearby. "
