"Absolutely wonderful - everything was perfect, from t he first welcome to when we left. We loved the vibe and popularity of the pub, it felt so loved by locals. The food was extremely good - frankly as good as the Michelin place we visited on the Saturday. The rooms were gorgeous, cosy and comfy and full of so much care and thoughtfulness. It is really obvious you love the place, and that makes visitors love it too. Staff were so friendly and lovely."

"We used the app Komoot for local walks - the suggested one was excellent but very very muddy in winter!! So my advice - ask locals/ staff as they know the area.
Lindfield was recommended as a nice village to visit - the food wasn't all that though, we hoped for a nice bakery and lunch options but not much in the way of nice food.
Gravetye Manor was very very posh! We enjoyed our Michelin meal there very much
