"Lovely site, flat pitches and very firm on the grass ones despite the amount of rain. Nice dog walks around, well stocked little shop and immaculate facilities. Close enough to York to be handy, but also nice and remote with no road noise or owt like that. Would deffo use again."

"Drovers is good as ever.
Don't miss Burnby Hall and Gardens at Pocklington especially if you can make it for the Illuminated gardens in November/December.
Whilst you're in Pocklington, we can recommend 'Pane e Vino' in Market Square. (Wise to book at weekends.)
And Selby Abbey is a real treasure (and unknown to us before our last visit to Field House Farm)."

"An excellent CL site that has all the amenities of a large club site.
Excelent pitches.
Additional option to rent the 2 bedroom luxury lodge for family/friends that do not have caravan/motorhome.
Nothing was too much trouble for the site owner (Wendy) if you required assistance or advice."

Tip:
"York Designer Outlet and York park and ride are just 7mile/15mins away by car.
Free parking at the designer outlet all day whilst you take the bus into York - return ticket for two adults cost us £2.60 - fantanstic value.
Meals at the Drovers Arms in Skipworth are excellent and parking a large motorhome in car park is no issue.
Make sure you visit Skipworth Common National Nature Reserve again easy parking for moderate size motorhomes."
