"This is our second stay at The Manifold and equally as good. Clean, comfortable accommodation, hot, tasty, good portion food, inviting atmosphere, welcoming locals and very friendly and helpful staff, with the addition of the roaring fire after a long day or walk. The staff helped with us booking the local community bus for our walk and a flask of tea from the kitchen! Will definitely stay again."

Tip:
"Chatsworth house at Christmas is amazing. So many places to walk and villages to visit, do some homework before you come. You can book the community bus (ask the pub for the number) before you stay to take you to the other end of the Manifold trail and walk back. Lovely village of Youlgrave and river walk. Usual places of interest such as Buxton, Matlock, Bakewell, Ashbourne. So much to do!"
