"This is our second stay at Dolvean Hiuse. The location is ideal for the beach, bars, restaurants and shops.
Cleanliness is second to non. Our room was spacious and had added extras e.g. bottled water, fresh milk (if requested). There was a good selection of teas, plus coffee and hot chocolate.
Shaun and Renate were the perfect hosts, with Shaun cooking a delicious breakfast.
We would definitely recommend the Dolvean for a lovely, comfortable stay."

Tip:
"A choice of excellent bars and restaurants nearby. The Princess Pavilion is literally across the road. The Maritime Museum is within a short walking distance."

"The Dolovean house is one of the best places I have ever stayed on, is a nice cosy Cornish establishment, with clean and comfortable rooms and amazing Cornish breakfast, I recommend that. The location is exceptional, very near the docks and the promenade and restaurants of the town. Shaun the owner is very friendly and a great host. He was very flexible with the check in, since I arrived a little bit late, he stayed up and waited for me. Great place, great stay."

"A lovely place to stay in Falmouth, easy to find on arrival. Shaun and Renata are wonderful hosts and always make us feel very welcome and comfortable. They have plenty of local knowledge and are always happy to answer any questions the guests may have.
There is a very good selection on the breakfast menu, the food is cooked perfectly and served piping hot.

Tip:
"Dolvean House is a very good base for visiting places in Cornwall. On our recent stay we took the ferry to St. Mawes for the day. We also went to Mevagissey, St. Ives, Botallack Mine, Trerice House and Tolgus Mill/Cornish Gold Centre. We also enjoyed walks to Swanpool and round Pendennis Head.

Harbour Lights Fish and Chip Shop is one of our regular eateries and we also enjoyed evening meals at Amanzi and the Chain Locker. We also had a delicious evening meal slightly further afield at the Royal Oak in Perranwell "
