"My sister and I spent a week with Lesley and Mark at Meadowlea while we were in Okehampton visiting friends. We enjoyed everything about our stay. The room was spacious and incredibly clean. I highly recommend the Meadowlea and if you are staying in the area, this is a five star!!

"I was travelling alone, but had single occupancy of the lovely, spacious twin en-suite room at the front of the house. The hosts, Leslie and Mark, were very welcoming, and the breakfasts were delicious with a wide choice."

Tip:
"I was visiting relatives who live nearby so didn't make much use of local restaurants, etc, however, Meadowlea is situated close to the Granite Way and Dartmoor. There is the beautiful Simmons Park nearby too. I will be returning to Meadowlea to do some hiking."

"I have stayed at Meadowlea Guesthouse 4 times the last more then 2 years. I have tried different rooms, but every stay has been perfect. Nice and clean rooms, all equipped with what I need: Wifi, TV, hairdryer and bathroom facilities. To that a breakfast worthy of a hotel with many stars. "

Tip:
"Train and busses goes east and west from here. Taxis are available and walks by the river and up on the moor is within easy reach. For those with a bike there are cycling routes-"
