"Attadale is an excellent place to stay, very well situated for travelling around the north of Scotland, staff very friendly and helpful, fantastic all around scenery, plenty of amenities, the gardens are free to guests, good selection of venison ( for meat eaters ). cottages well situated away for the main drag. a pleasure to stay, sad to have to leave again. Will be back again in near future. my rating out of 5 is a 5"

Tip:
"The local restaurants are great and well priced for the area. friendly staff. love the "cabin" burger and chips (good portion size) stall at Plockton. lots of places to eat at Portree. Isle of Skye a beautiful Island again with amazing views, and speaking of views, Applecross route is stunning. and the Rougie falls are a view worth taking, for harry potter fans Glenfinnan bridge with the Jacobite steam train just outside Fort William is worth the visit and obviously Ben Nevis, leave very early as car park there fills very quickly. lots of art and crafts and gift shops in nearly every town and village, and a nice wee market at Torridon Community Centre, for the bargain hunter. On a whole the Scots up in the Highlands are very polite and helpful, cannot fault them at all."

"Large group rented two properties at Attadale. We had a great week, delighted with accommodation, location, helpfulness of owners and staff. We felt very welcomed and any queries/problems were attended to immediately. They could not have been more helpful."

Tip:
"We had a lovely meal and evening at Carron Restaurant just over a mile down the road.
walkhighlands website was very helpful with walk suggestions in the area.
Walk from Achnashellach Stn. up to Corrie Lair was particularly enjoyable.
Other members of our group did more adventurous walks up nearby Monros."
